环境影响评价是实现可持续发展的重要工具，多数国家都要求对建设项目进行环境影响评价。目前，越来越多的国家已经开始要求对国家的政策、计划和规划的环境影响进行评价，目的是把环境保护目标和措施纳入经济和社会发展的规划中，使环境因素与经济、社会因素一起，在规划形成的早期阶段得到重视。
本论坛的主要目的是为国内外从事环境影响评价的管理与技术人员提供一个交流平台，使参会人员及时了解国际环境影响评价前沿成果，展示国内外环境影响评价的最新进展，宣传并促进我国《环境影响评价法》的实施。 |
| Sustainable development has become a goal
commonly recognized by the international community. Environmental
Impact Assessment (EIA) is an important tool to achieve
sustainable development, EIA for construction projects
has become a legal requirement in most of the countries
in the world, Nowadays, EIA of policies, plans and programs
is being required in more and more countries to enable
the integration of environmental considerations of development
plans, |
programmes and activities in the decision-making
process and the adoption of corresponding countermeasures
to minimize the adverse environmental impacts cause by
human activities.
The main objective of the Forum is to provide a platform
for domestic and foreign EIA professionals so that the
participants will have an apportunity to share their experience
in EIA. The Forum will bring forth the recent development
of EIA in China and other countries and promote the implementation
of China's EIA Law. |
